Dogs in Pastel
Tracey
Pastel on pastel card. Chrisford Wiggley Worm (Tracey) the Italian Greyhound.
Tracey was a beautiful lady. In her early days she was a successful show dog, shown by Kay Rutter, with two CC and Best of Breeds. Tracey was a lady in every way and had immense dignity but she loved to have cuddles snuggles with her owner, Sally Bryan, who loved her very much.
Tracey was always my favourite 'Iggie' at the Bryan household and I miss her greatly. When the other dogs would be racing around, Tracey would often just be sitting there quietly, observing the mayhem.
The portrait was commissioned as a surprise present for Sally. I hope that Tracey can now watch over the mayhem for many more years to come.
